I am like in heaven! Rutilted Quartz is my most favorite! The Sphere has an especially cool story! I didn't get to go to the Tucson Gem shows this year, another friend of mine who did (Laura) offered to shop for me if there was something special I wanted. I told her the one thing I want is a rutilated quartz sphere. I didn't have my hopes up too much as I have been looking for one for awhile and have not been able to find one. So when she was unable to find one in Tucson it was no big deal. That was last Saturday. So 4 days later I went to another friends house, who was giving my father and I some of his rock equipment that he was getting rid of. He told me to come inside, that he had something for me. He had no idea about my search for a sphere, but he did know my favorite stone was rutilated quartz, as he rock hounds with me and my father, and it just so happens to be his favorite stone too. So when he handed me this sphere and said this is for you, I started crying! He gave me a beautiful stand to put it on too! It measures 11 inches all the way around, it is a nice size! How is that for ordering up to the universe!!??
