Offering Bowl - wood burned - Turtle Totem

I burned the designs into this teak bowl. I use these bowls for offerings and meditations. When I wake up each morning I love to put the stones that appeal to me that day in the bowl so that I can have them near me at my work station or at my desk. I do the same thing at night, putting stones, or small mementos in the bowl by my beside for meditation, healing, and for remembrance.
One of my best friends sent me this bowl almost a year ago for a present, she knows I love turtles, as the turtle is one of my totems. I just barely got around to burning the designs into it though. I tried to make it look very Hawaiian but tribal as well. In the center I set a sparkling dichroic cabochon that has a blue ocean side and a fiery volcanic side. I set 6 small Iolite stones around the center cabochon, and then I set 6 Amazonite stones into the petals of the flower. I set two small pieces of Turquoise in the eyes!
I am keeping this one, as it was a gift from my dear friend, but especially because the turtle totem means so much to me. I do sell other offering bowls on my website though     www.beadworx.com
