Lavender Bundles

Such a beautiful morning! My morning ritual as of late has been to wake up and instantly go outside to soak up some morning sun, and I water our backyard plants and trees while I am at it. I love hearing the birds and the smell of the morning mixed with the water mist. I kept hearing a humming bird but I was not able to spot it hidden in the trees. I decided to send it some love anyhow and sent a wave of "I love you" energy out towards the humming bird sounds I kept hearing....I am not joking, within 30 seconds, here she comes down right next to me!! She decided she wanted a bath with the water I was showering onto the orange tree. She spent the next three minutes flying all around me and the tree, getting so close to me and letting the spray of the water from the leaves get her all wet, and then she rested on one of the leaves and shook out a bit. It made my morning! hehe! 

Then I went out front and gathered some of our lavender to make some lavender bundles. I gathered it with intention, (which basically means, I just gave thanks and love to the plant for allowing me to clip it and gather it for my bundles). I wrapped some bundles this morning and they are ready to dry. Can't wait to use them! I use them for incense, cleansing, smudging and ceremony.

Now I am enjoying a breakfast of fresh cantaloupe while I listen to my Native American music and then I am headed to the torch to melt some glass for the rest of the day! I am loving my day! Hope yours is a great one too!
