I bought the mask pre-fab, but I did all the embellishing with the crystals, bindi's, and sequence. I made matching feather ear cuffs, which is what the mask is laying on top of to go along with my mask when I wear it, and I have a velvet green cloak as well for the ensemble.
This is for my personal costume, but the feathers I got at Hobby Lobby, they were on 30% discount, and the wire, probably all cost me $20.00 to make the ear cuffs (it was actually enough for three ear cuffs, I made an extra one for my teenager daughter . And then the stock mask cost another $10.00 plus things to design it, maybe another $7.00 or so. So around $40.00 for my cost to make them, not too bad if you feel up to being creative!
I swear I'm just totally in love with your creativity! This is so beautiful! I am a little confused about the eyes though. They don't match up at the top lids.
Thanks so much Purplecherry5! The angle that I took the photo is a bit off to the left, but also, this mask, was a pre-fab, before I embellished it, so the eyes and shape were already cut out and such. I tried to get the most even one when I picked them out, but they all unfortunately had this unbalance on all of them. Still looks really good on though, so I wasn't too bummed.
Peacocks have become my favorite animal as of late.
And this is just jaw dropping.
Wonders how much it would cost for it and the ear cuffs X)
